I’ve been fascinated by people and business my whole life long. I started studying leadership and continued until I received a Ph.D. in Leadership Studies. Formally, I’m Dr. Wheeler. But you can call me Carol.
After a lifetime of studying, teaching, and leading, I have concluded that inspiration strikes when people understand their unique contributions to their organization.

Former Associate Professor of Leadership Studies at Our Lady of the Lake University in San Antonio, Texas. Taught graduate-level courses in leadership theory, conflict management, strategy, and teamwork.
Former Assistant Professor at the Mays Business School at Texas A&M. Taught undergraduate leadership courses.
Held numerous university administration positions at Indiana University, Austin College, Oklahoma State University, and Texas A&M.
Research interests include crisis leadership, emotional concepts in the practice of leadership, and how students and professionals learn and practice leadership.
